    Aziara Baker is a 5 year old little girl with Aicardi Syndrome, an extremely rare neurological disorder that only affects girls.  Every two years the Aicardi Foundation hosts a Family Conference where families can come together to learn about the syndrome, share ideas and support one another. The Baker family is trying to raise money to help Azaria attend the conference in Chicago.  More information about Azaria, the fund raiser, and Aicardi Syndrome may be seen at Azaria's website

Upgrading your Joomla 1.5 website to RC4 Karibu

The short version can be found on the Joomla website which consists of the following:
    Although a complete re-installation is recommended, it is possible to upgrade from RC3 to RC4 with the following procedure:

  • Backup all files; backup your database.
  • Delete all Joomla! core files, but leave any third-party extension files in place, including your configuration.php file.
  • Upload/copy contents of RC4 package.
  • Execute the MySQL commands to be found in /installation/sql/mysql/diff.sql to implement the necessary database changes.
  • Delete the entire /installation directory.

So I ran across a post in the JoomlaShack Customization Forums where a Joomlashack customer wanted to place a pathway on every page except the home page. It makes a lot of sense to me as the person viewing the web page would know where they are, they are at home. :-)
